Sample Logo for a Tattoo Shop

Anyone who has ever spent any time in a tattoo shop knows that the most often asked question is, "Is the outline done yet". I thought of that when I designed this logo. In this logo the last of the rainbow color is being applied to the word "pigment", with some skin still showing on the final letter. I liked the contrast of the rather fluid, free formed fonts as they played against the metallic rigidity of the tattoo gun section. I particularly like logos that tell the viewer what the nature of the particular business is. There is no doubt here...and yes...the outline IS done!
